This is our latest video. Levi had just woken up from a nap and I was trying to feed him, but for some reason he was mad! I have no idea what was wrong with him, but he just wanted to be left alone and for me to not mess with him. I couldn't believe the fit he was throwing, so once again I had to catch it on tape to show Sam. Some of you might think I'm spoiled because I consider this a tantrum (and maybe I am thus far), but I swear it was worse than it appears! That's the thing about babies, though. How can you get upset at a screaming baby covered in peaches? You just have to laugh. So here is Levi at 8 months old.

Taking a stand against naps
Levi was supposed to be taking a nap, but was just talking and talking. So after several minutes I went in to check on him only to find he had discovered a new talent: pulling himself up on the sides of his crib. After I snapped a few pictures to show Sam, I decided to get a bit on video. I'm glad I did; Levi is such a character. This was a month ago, so Levi was 7 1/2 months.
Play time with Dad
Here's a video of Sam and Levi playing together. I love watching them together! Sam is such a great dad. I am very blessed! Also, Levi is about 7 1/2 months old here.
Yum! French Toast!
Here is Levi at about 7 months. He is sitting in his high chair eating a piece of French Toast. The reason we got out the camera is because Levi would shake his head vigorously right as he was starting to take a bite... like he was attacking the French Toast. He used to do the same thing when he was brand new and was getting ready to nurse. Anyway, so of course as soon as we pulled out the camera he stopped. He's super great about that! But, he's still cute, so I'm still posting the video. :)
Push-ups!
Three days before we took this footage, we were getting professional pictures taken. While Levi was on his tummy at the photo shoot, he started doing push-ups on to his hands and toes. Every time he'd do it, we'd say "Push-up!" Pretty soon we had him trained that whenever we'd say "push-up!" he'd do it. This was the end of August, so Levi was just a week under 6 months. Unfortunately, I once again waited too long to get out the camera, so Levi was being a bit grumpy, but he is still kind of doing his push-ups.
Sharing a laugh
We were up visiting Andrea and Dan this past July and Sam really had Levi laughing. Of course, by the time I grabbed the camera, the best of it was over (and Sam was getting pretty tired!), but you can still hear our little boys adorable laugh! Let's see... this was toward the end of July, so Levi was still 4 months old, but getting close to 5.

And we're rolling....
Here's our video of Levi rolling over. He was about 4 1/2 months old when we filmed this. A few times we'd go in his room to get him out of his crib and he'd rolled over in the night. He'd also roll over while he was playing on the floor, but we never saw him to it. We finally actually saw him roll over 2 days before this video was taken. After we saw him do it once, I guess he figured there was no point in hiding it from us--every time we'd lay him down he would immediately roll over.
A New Toy! (4 months)
A friend lent us this exersaucer toy and Levi just loved it. He was 4 months old in this video. Now, he doesn't like sitting in the exersaucer so much, but he does love pulling himself up on it and playing with the toys. (By the way, sorry about the goofy voice. You talk weird when you're a mom!)
Levi's 1st Video
Here we have the very first footage of Levi. This was taken pretty much right after he was born- we were still in the labor and delivery room and I still couldn't feel my legs. :)

Levi's a crawler!
Here is our latest video clip of Levi. (I'll have to go back and load past videos now that I know how to.) This video is of Levi crawling. He had been "worming" for quite a while. He would push with his feet and then pull forward with both of his hands. Now he is actually crawling! He started it
almost two weeks ago. Check out the video.

Finally... a way to share videos!
Hello family and friends....
I've had several friends tell me that I needed to start a blog... I didn't because I didn't want to jump on that train. BUT, we think this might be the easiest way to share video that we take from our digital camera. Levi is growing so fast and doing so much, we wanted you all to be able to see him in action! Hope you enjoy it!
