Levi asked for a "Red Car" cake this year. He calls Lightening McQueen "Red Car" even though he can say "Lightening McQueen" just fine. My first idea was to use his Matchbox-style cars, and so I boiled them to sterilize them.... BAD IDEA! I guess there are some plastic parts that aren't boil-proof, and I ruined them. We had to go buy some new ones a few weeks later. Instead, I used these mini-Cars from his spiral racetrack. It still turned out pretty cool... Levi liked it, and that's all that matters.

When we asked Levi if he was excited about his upcoming birthday, he started talking about triangle hats, so I thought I better buy some. They didn't have any Cars hats, so here we are with our Dora the Explorer hats.

I can't believe how old Levi looks in those pictures. Maybe it's the hair. He's getting so big. Loved his reaction to the balloons.
